Summary
Your camera is on only while a try-on session is running. The video is processed in real time to render the garment and is not saved by us. We never use your microphone, we do not collect your browsing history, and we do not sell your data.
This policy explains what personal data Blucash ("we", "us") collects when you use the tryoncam Chrome extension and this website, why, and what choices you have.
1. What we collect

We do not receive your full card number. Payments are handled by our payment processor under its own privacy policy.
2. Your camera
- The extension asks for camera access only when you start a try-on, and the camera turns off when the session ends or you close the trial room.
- During a session, the video is streamed securely to our real-time AI video provider, which renders the garment onto the video and streams it back to you.
- We do not record, save or store your camera video or any frames from it on our servers, and we do not use it to identify you, to build a biometric profile, or to train AI models.
- We never request or use your microphone.
3. The pages you visit
To show the Try On button, the extension reads the page you are viewing inside your browser to find garment images. That analysis happens locally and is not sent to us.
We receive information about a page only when you start a try-on: the address of the garment image and of the page it is on, which our server uses to fetch that image. We do not collect or keep a record of your browsing history.
4. How we use your data
- To provide the Service: sign you in, run try-on sessions, and keep your credit balance accurate.
- To process purchases and meet tax and accounting obligations.
- To keep the Service secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our Terms.
- To understand, in aggregate, how the Service is used so we can improve it.
- To send you essential messages about your account or purchases. We will only send marketing emails if you have opted in, and you can opt out at any time.
Where the law requires a legal basis, we rely on performing our contract with you, our legitimate interests in running and securing the Service, compliance with legal obligations, and your consent where we ask for it.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run tryoncam, under contracts that limit their use of it:
- Real-time AI video processing (currently Decart AI): receives the live camera stream and garment image during a session, to render the try-on.
- Google: provides sign-in.
- Payment processor: processes credit purchases.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers: store account and session records.
We may also disclose data if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of our users or others, or as part of a merger or sale of our business, in which case this policy will continue to apply.
6. How long we keep it
- Camera video: not stored by us.
- Account details and credit balance: for as long as your account is open.
- Session and purchase records: for as long as we need them for billing, tax and legal purposes, typically up to 7 years for financial records.
- Server logs: up to 90 days, unless needed to investigate a security issue.
When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data, except records we must keep by law.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Residents of California and other US states have the right to know what we collect and to request deletion, and we do not sell or share personal data for cross-context behavioural advertising.
To exercise any of these rights, email support@tryoncam.com from the address on your account. We will respond within the time the law requires. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
8. Security
Data in transit is encrypted with TLS. Session credentials are short-lived and scoped to a single session, and our API keys never reach your browser. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you of any breach where the law requires.
9. Children
tryoncam is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. International transfers
Our service providers may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
11. Chrome Web Store disclosure
tryoncam's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use the data the extension handles only to provide and improve its single purpose, virtual try-on, and never transfer it for advertising, credit-worthiness or data-brokering purposes.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will change the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, let you know by email or in the extension before they take effect.
